CMF Capital, one of the leading independent funders to medium and large UK businesses is proud to report record year-on-year growth in its latest financial results. For the year ending 2018, the business delivered a total of £80m in funding, an increase of 13.2% from 2017. The results also highlight a 31% increase in the total number of agreements secured across a broad range of industry sectors. The performance is even more impressive given a wider industry stagnation.

Commenting on the results, Managing Director John Mulheron said:
“There is no doubt trading conditions have been somewhat tougher recently with Brexit uncertainty affecting the timing of some capital investment decisions. However, we are still seeing businesses actively open conversations regarding new funding lines and indeed looking at alternative options away from their existing funders.”

“Our ability to gain access to highly competitive interest rates, combined with our focus on delivering bespoke funding solutions to our clients have allowed us to see continued strong growth. These solutions, in particular asset based funding with larger SME’s is an area we are looking to develop over the coming months.” He continued.

Headquartered in Farnborough, CMF Capital operates across the UK with business development directors specific to each region enabling a more personal ‘hands on’ relationship with clients.

The business has ambitious plans for growth over the next few years. “Traditionally we have been very successful in building long term relationships with our customers and our focus is now on adding new customers to our base. We are investing significantly in marketing activities, including new branding, a digital presence and immersing ourselves in certain markets where we see strong growth potential”.

“We are also actively seeking to add to our team to take advantage of the opportunities we see. We believe that by continuing to raise awareness of the CMF Capital brand, communicate our product and service benefits and build our team, the future looks bright.” Concluded Mulheron
